E.KLOK is a digital control system developed by ECAT Orologi e Campane in collaboration with Abinsula for the management of bells and monumental clocks in bell towers. The solution replaces traditional electromechanical control units with a programmable and connected platform, designed to coordinate bell ringing according to customized calendars, control clock movements and monitor the status of mechanical components. Designed to operate in complex contexts and historic installations, E.KLOK helps modernize the technical management of bell towers while preserving their sound, aesthetics and traditions.
E.KLOK integrates a touch interface on an industrial tablet and a block-based visual programming system. This allows users to configure sequences, schedules and rules in a simple way, without writing code, making the management of bell towers more flexible and accessible. Cloud connectivity enables remote monitoring, system updates and data analysis. By collecting information on the operating status of the system and its components, E.KLOK supports predictive maintenance features aimed at improving reliability and operational continuity.
