Digital ticketing is transforming the way passengers access public transportation, making travel more convenient while simplifying ticket management. Abinsula collaborated with 5T in the evolution of the BIP (Biglietto Integrato Piemonte) ecosystem, extending the regional electronic ticketing system to mobile devices through NFC-enabled applications and digital services.
Abinsula developed an Android application that integrates seamlessly with the BIP ticketing infrastructure, allowing users to recharge their personal contactless smart cards directly from their smartphones using NFC technology. The project also includes the development of an e-commerce platform that enables passengers to purchase travel tickets online and access digital mobility services through their mobile devices, contributing to a more connected and user-friendly public transport experience.
